Reconciled back to Himself

The book of Colossians really bangs on about what Jesus did for us, doesn’t it?

And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven,

as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross. – Col 1:20

Will you join me in this next prayer?

 Thank You Lord Jesus for dying FOR ME and completely reconciling me back to my Heavenly Father. I know that it is through Your “blood”that this happened. What that means to me Lord, is that You died in the place of everyone and You paid for ALL the sins of the world. I accept Your death for me. I thank You for removing the barrier of sin that separated me from my Heavenly Father… and I know that because of You Lord Jesus, that I am completely reconciled to my Heavenly Father. Thank You Lord Jesus. I know that my Father will do His work in my life, I know He has promised to heal me and to bless me and restore me… and I am sure He will.

But please remember, it’s a daily thing. You abide in Him, He abides in you. Day by day. Come back tomorrow or late today and pray this again and over time you’ll see how your life has changed. It happened for me. It will happen for you. Accept that Jesus paid for it all… and keep on accepting… and keep on… and keep on. Day by day.
