Hi guys… thanks for continuing to visit while I am away. I am reading your comments on my phone, but I can’t reply. While I’m away, I hope you take the time to dig around in the 300+ archived posts and find whatever it is you are looking for. (Hint: Paul says in Ephesians that all the treasures and secrets are hidden in Him.)
I just saw… this blog just cracked 10k in visitors! Woohoo!
How am I? I’m going well… very well. I didn’t make it to the Crosslink Gathering 2006. As I sat in church God spoke to me… and things began to change. I went somewhere else, I signed up to a marriage guidance course, I applied for a new house, investigated getting a new car, made preparations to get an Aussie permanent residency visa, received a challenge from Him to focus on the business and take the opportunity that He has given me… and received some love and healing.
It’s not at all easy for me to go through change, but the fruit is good. And things are a-changing BIG TIME. A fresh wind is blowing in my life. It’s so hard to capture all the change… so I won’t even try. But believe me, when I get settled and blog again… it will be a fresh wind.
I found this very interesting post and blog and this YouTube video… it’s kinda intense, but stimulating.
Enjoy!
hehehehe… my eyes glazed over. Something about YWAM. I dunno. hehehehe!
Hi Mark,
Actually, I think I read that somewhere or you told me and I must have forgot. Love NZ, cool to hear you were there too.
I have an Australian permanent residency, but it will expire in the next couple years or so now that I’m living back in the US.
I don’t have a post that describes my journey, but I should put one up some time in case people need something to put them to sleep.
In short: born in southern California, moved back and forth between southern and northern Cal–some similarities to southern and northern New South Wales; moved to Honolulu when involved with YWAM; moved to Australia for nine years, back to Cal this year to plant LifeSong Church. Spent time in Korea, Taiwan on missions trips.
Mark……Mark……I told you I’d put you to sleep 🙂
Bless you too.
H John
I just-just-just visited your site too.
No, I am born in South Africa. I travelled to London and lived there for 2 years working in IT. Then on an around the world trip I got happily “stuck” in NZ and travelled and worlked there for 1.5 years. Then I hopped over the ditch to Aussie and have been here for 7 years (and counting). I’ve put off getting my residency for soooo long, but now things are settling and I think it’s time to admit, I’m an Aussie at heart. 🙂
And you? You’ve also gotten around a bit. Do you have a post somewhere online that describes your journey?
Bless you,
Mark.
Hi Mark,
Great to see you posting again. I’m curious, you mentioned getting an Australian permanent residency visa. Aren’t you originally from Oz?
Far out! What a compliment. Thanks mate! 😀
I am so pleased to see the hub of activity your blog already is. It’s fantastic.
Bless you brother!
Hey Mark,
When you said you never made it to Crosslink and that God had spoken to you, it reminded me of Paul when he received the Macedonian call. You remind me a little of Paul; hummmm! Have a great time, brother.
