Say something nice to God today

There will come a time when this world no longer exists, it has been wiped away like a bad memory. But did you know that God wants to remember some of it?

He wants to remember your kind thoughts and your relational words about Him. He is storing up wonderful memories about you for Himself…

Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another; and the Lord listened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the Lord and who thought on His name. – Mal 3:160

I’ll tell you a secret. One day I was in my prayer room. I just let it all hang out. Like a fool I talked to the empty room, telling God how I felt, offering myself to Him, wanting people to know Him, telling Him how much I truly admire Him. After a while I saw some “hands” appear in front of me. They were holding a book. I sat there dumbfounded. I didn’t know what to do. It’s not every day that hands appear!

These hands were showing me my words in a book. (I have tears in my eyes as I write this.) It was the Book of Remembrance. God was showing me that He loved my words and He had added them to His Book of Remembrance.

He cherishes your thoughts and your conversations and your words about Him. Say something nice to Him and about Him today. Make it real and heartfelt.

And for those of you who are currently trapped in lives of hardship, I know it is hard sometimes to find kind words when we feel oppressed. But try anyway. He loves you and He is working to help you. Just stay in the relationship and trust Him. I did and it worked for me.
