Today I had hoped for so much in my own life, but I fell further than I had imagined. Today I was bitterly complaining about it… and I felt as if God whispered to me “what is it that overcomes the world but your faith” which is a quote of 1 John 5:4 and then He seemed to say “and so the enemy attacks your faith and tries to make you doubt”
But I had experienced failure and collapse today. This past weekend (saturday) wasn’t so flash either! My faith is shaky and yes I’m doubting!!
Looking to prop up my faith, I looked to see if our previous miracle is still going… and sure enough it is! Amazing. At the very height of the US hurricane season, after double the normal hurricanes, after a record 6-in-a-row hurricanes hitting the USA… there is NOTHING active in that region.
Previously I wrote in much greater detail about this miracle and how it relates to the prayer and faith that Jesus HAS overcome this whole financial mess. I see Christians passing around “Jesus can do it” messages, but I say to you Jesus HAS DONE it on the cross. He defeated sin and death. Have faith in His completed work.
but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. – 2 Timothy 1:10
But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. – Heb 9:26
because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person – Heb 2:9
that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives. – Heb 2:15
Don’t be cheated out from your inheritance. Peace is your inheritance. Abundance. Healing. Fellowship with God.
How do you get it? Its your faith that overcomes the world. Your faith must be in His completed work on the cross… completed in that He overcame death and abolished sin. It is done. Don’t wait for it to be done. Don’t hope for it to be done. Don’t ask for it to be done. IT IS DONE.

Have faith in His finished work on the cross – because it’s your faith that overcomes this world and creates miracles like the one we are witnessing!

please pray that god can give me the faith that pleases him and and puts my fears to rest on him knowing he will do everything in his word that he has promised to do.
