I have been highlighting a global miracle that is happening
- 1 week on the miracle continues – have faith! (Oct 2, 2008)
- Prophecy – Catastrophe ahead (Ike and financial storms) (Sept 23, 2008)
The reason Jesus is doing this miracle is to raise your spiritual temperature, to get your attention, to help you focus on His ability to change what we see as inevitable.
The financial crisis that is affecting homes, businesses, families, income is NOT inevitable. It’s NOT a sure thing. It’s NOT something you have to go through. We Christians are the light, salt and fruit for the world.
“YOU are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. – Matt 5:14-15
YOU are now the light of this world – because He is in you. Don’t hide away your faith, use it. What is it that overcomes this world? It’s our faith!
For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. – 1 John 5:4
Ok, let’s focus on the amazing miracle that has happened…
Zones
This is a map showing the 3 global hurricane zones, based on past history…
In this example, we are only focussing on the Atlantic zone off the coast of the USA.
The early hurricane season – before prayer
The US hurricane season (running from June 1 through November 30, 2008) had – until mid September – been very much above average in activity, deaths and cost.
This year is the second most destructive behind the 2005 season, with up to 52 billion dollars in damage. The season has begun far more active than normal and has been particularly devastating for Haiti, where over 800 people were killed by four consecutive tropical cyclones (Fay, Gustav, Hanna, and Ike) in August and September. – Source: Wikipedia
And this is what all the storms from the start through to September looked like when overlayed together…

The Gulf Coast and the Carribean zones are getting pummelled.
MIAMI: The 10 tropical storms and hurricanes that ripped through the Atlantic and Caribbean during this busy hurricane season savaged Haiti, Cuba and the U.S. Gulf coast, and conditions are now ripe for more. Residents of the Atlantic-Caribbean danger zone should not let down their guard, despite a brief lull in the action following Tropical Storm Josephine’s demise two weeks ago and Hurricane Ike’s strike on the Texas coast, experts said. “Conditions are still favourable for hurricanes. People really need to stay on their toes,” said Gerry Bell, the lead hurricane season forecaster for the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. – Source: More to come in busy Atlantic hurricane season
And not satisfied with that, Gerry Bell, the lead hurricane season forecaster, went on to say this…
“Through October 15th I would not let my guard down on the (U.S.) eastern seaboard at all,” AccuWeather forecaster Joe Bastardi said, predicting another three to five storms. “Between the 25th (of September) and 15th of October the Caribbean will light up, but first, something may form off the Carolinas,” he said. – Source: More to come in busy Atlantic hurricane season
And just to really push the point home…
… the U.S. National Hurricane Centre says that so far it has not found another year since records began in 1851 in which the United States was hit by six tropical cyclones in a row, but it was still digging through databases. – Source: More to come in busy Atlantic hurricane season
I got emails from people living in that area. 2005 had had so many hurricanes they had run out of names from them “But not even in 2005 did six storms in a row hit the United States.” Things looked bad,
The late hurricane season – AFTER prayer
We prayed. Did it work? Let’s see. Let’s take a look at all the storms from Ike onwards, overlayed like above…
Source: IbisEye.com
The normal track for storms is in light yellow… but as you can see NOT EVEN ONE of the storms has followed that track. Wow huh? What do you think? 🙂
The NHC “2008 Season Summaries and Reports” for October is not in, because it’s still October. But when it comes in, it will present interesting reading. How will they explain this massive change? I fail to see how anyone can account for this enormous change – unless they are a Christian.
The END of the financial hurricane season?
Those are the timelines for the hurricanes that threatened the country. Now we face a different kind of threat, an economic hurricane crisis. Here are some non-visual timelines for this crisis:
- Extremely detailed crisis timeline
- Less detailed but more informative timeline
- Not detailed user-friendly timeline
I am prompting you in this post to think… think that if Jesus could completely transform things so that a season which was almost entirely in the Gulf of Mexico and Carribean regions, wreaking havoc… after prayer now these devastating hurricanes almost only pummel empty seas in the Atlantic region!
But HOW did that happen? Jesus DID it
The evidence is there. You can see what Jesus Christ has done. How can you not believe?
I got emails about the need to pray for the hurricanes… but I don’t see any about praying for this financial storm. Why?
Didn’t Jesus Christ destroy ALL the works of the devil?
The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. – 1 John 3:8
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— Heb 2:14
And what’s more, Jesus completed His work… it is finished… and above in these posts you can see just a smart piece of the proof of that.
Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. – John 19:30
Will you renew your mind? The financial crisis is not inevitable, it’s not a sure thing, it’s not something you have to go through. Not at all.
The Aussie rain miracles
If you want to see another modern global miracle, then check out these two posts
Let me say again that the reason God is doing this now is because we are facing a monstrous financial crisis and we can and we should encourage each other to pray about it. Jesus overcame everything. He overcame this too… will we receive it by faith?
What is faith?
As regular readers will know, I have been promoting a different approach to “faith”.
- Faith is not how hard you believe, instead it’s agreeing that Jesus is who He said and He has done what He said.
- Faith is not dogged obstinate arrogant blindness of some Pentecostals, instead it is firm agreement with His finished work on the cross.
- Faith is not positive thinking (that is called “hope“), but faith is agreeing that what you read in the bible about what Jesus did on the cross is true.
- That is why our faith overcomes this world and that is why double mindedness about what He did causes us not to receive. Having faith in what you can’t see is tough. You just have to agree He did it and decide that’s that.
And it works… as you can see. Look at these two miracles and you’ll know it is true. The proof is right there. Jesus rocks!! Enjoy!
