By His stripes we are healed (The Barabbas revival)

Do you recognize this man? His name is/was Barabbas.

The story of what Jesus Christ did for this man – as a symbol of all of us – is a story which is yet to be fully unraveled and taught, and I believe that now is the time for that.

So what do we know from the bible about Barabbas and the punishment that he was waiting for… which was then given to Jesus Christ?

The penalty for Barabbas’ crime was death by crucifixion,

But … there was a prevailing Passover custom in Jerusalem that allowed or required Pilate, the praefectus or governor of Judaea, to commute one prisoner’s death sentence to another.

John refers to Barabbas as a lēstēs, “bandit/robber”. Mark and Luke further refer to Barabbas as one involved in a stasis, a riot. Matthew refers to Barabbas only as a “notorious prisoner.”  – Source: Wikipedia.

John 18:40; Matthew 27:16; Mark 15:7; Luke 23:19

In this next video I try to show why and how the next revival – which is extremely imminent – is all about the Barabbas’ of this world. It’s a broad based revival right across the earth in which God/the Holy Spirit releases people and frees them spontaneously (in concert with Christians who pray this in).
