Take a prayerful bite of the cookie :)

If you’ve been reading my posts and you’re pumped up to believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ and to speak the words of scripture over situations (loosing what has already been loosed in Heaven) then try this: Meth in the madness

There’s a big why. Why meth? Why is that particular drug so prevalent? But it’s not hard to solve – lack of opportunity, lack of guidance, the cheapness and availability of that narcotic, and the powerful illusions of escape and control which it provides. Meth is “ghetto Prozac” – a primitive and dangerous pain-reliever, which goes on to aggravate the very pain and chaos which people take it to avoid. – BBC News

Don’t judge people for using drugs or porn or whatever else they do to medicate their pain away. Rather than judge them, instead take a stand and receive, welcome and accept what Jesus Christ did for us all. Remember, Jesus Christ died for the ungodly.

It’s one of my hopes that we Christians can realise who we are and take a stand as light and salt in this world. I know the project seems overwhelming and daunting, but I like to think of it this way. If we had to eat the world’s largest cookie, no single one of us could do it, but if 1 million people each took one bite of the cookie, no matter how big the cookie was, just one bite each would be enough to defeat the cookie.

Take aim and bite. Be salt and light to this world. Jesus Christ has defeated the cookie entirely. All you need to do is believe it. Wondering what words of scripture to believe, receive and accept? Here is a single page of scriptures for you to believe.

Would you like to intercede for peace in your country or in the world? All you need to do is get a map of the area you want to pray for and get this list of scriptures (or download the MS Word version) and speak each scripture out over the area you are praying for. It’s as easy as that.

Be encouraged, you’ve read the story of how Jesus Christ defeated hurricanes (view excellent guide to how hurricanes form) and so you can be sure that He did that same thing for Meth, or for your local suburb or the job situation. His work was complete, He made all things new. Just take your bit of the cookie. Just one bite. Go ahead, you know you want to.

One response to “Take a prayerful bite of the cookie :)

  1. This is true however even Jesus could not heal in his own home town and instances exist when seemingly nothing happens irrespective of what formula we use. We live in the “Here but the not yet” and we can also not assume that God is a puppet that must perform when we push certain buttons dare I say, even scriptural ones. God is God and he, not I decide what will happen or how it will happen. Sure I can ask and He may respond, then.. He may not. He is God and I am content with that, as tough as it is some times. I cannot assume to ever fathom the depths of God or His infinate wisdom. Whatever He does, good or Bad in my eyes has to be ok, because His Grace is sufficient IICor 12 says it all.
