Seek the Kingdom of God

Following on from this post: Kingdom of God let me nail my colours to the mast even more clearly than I ever have before.

Let us not deny the purpose that Jesus Christ came for, which was to destroy the devil and to destroy the works of the devil.

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. – 1 John 3:8

so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death–that is, the devil – Heb 2:14

It is an anti-Christ heresy to deny that Jesus Christ did not do what God the Father sent Him to do. Or to say  that we will see the enemy and his works take over this world.

Those two views are a denial of and in defiance of those two verses and the very reason that Jesus Christ came for.

Instead, let us BELIEVE the words of God and let us BELIEVE the Word of God… and receive the benefit. But for as long as you and I do not believe, we will not see the benefit.

For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. – Heb 4:2

Add your faith to what Jesus Christ did on His cross, otherwise it is of no value to you.

Do you accept what the bible says about the reason the Son of God appeared? Do you believe He fulfilled His work and then said “it is finished”? Why do you think we do not see it? Share your thoughts and leave a comment.
