US abortion clinics closing at unprecedented rate

Abortion centres are closing their doors at an unprecedented rate in America, according to the Bapist Press. So far, there have been 44 closings this year.
Some of the shutdowns have been of major clinics, including Virginia’s leading abortion provider, which closed following new state regulations it was unable to meet.
New laws are among the reasons cited for the upswing in closings, along with a growth in pro-life activity and a decline in abortions.
“I believe the increase in closures is due to record numbers of Christians praying for an end to abortion, and getting actively involved in pro-life efforts where they live — recognizing that change is not going to come from politicians in Washington, D.C., anytime soon,” David Bereit, national director of 40 Days for Life, wrote in a a statement for Baptist Press.
Forty-two of the clinics that closed provided surgical abortions, and two offered chemical abortions.
Twenty-five clinics shut down in 2012 and 30 in 2011.
add to that this significant setback for the porn industry in LA where 90% of US porn movies are filmed… where countles young lives are damaged… and where a massive spiritual demonic stronghold will now be significantly weakened…
A Los Angeles County law requiring adult film performers to wear condoms is constitutional, a federal judge has ruled. The decision is a setback to porn producers who filed a lawsuit to block the implementation of the Safer Sex in the Adult Film Industry Act, or Measure B, which was approved by voters last November. – CBS News

Pregerson said data provided by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health regarding sexually transmitted diseases and the adult film industry provide evidence that condoms on set would be a health benefit. The data found that since 2004, the health department received reports of 2,396 cases of chlamydia , 1,389 cases of gonorrhea, and five syphilis cases among adult film performers. “Because Plaintiffs’ First Amendment claim regarding Measure B’s condom requirement is unlikely to succeed on the merits, the Court denies a preliminary injunction on that issue,” Pregerson wrote. – Daily News

The organization that successfully pushed a Los Angeles ordinance mandating adult film actors use condoms has set its sights on Florida, saying film companies are skirting the law by shooting in other states. – TorontoSun
These spiritual victories come about by combining prayer + action. We have to have both. Without prayer our efforts are less effective. Without action our prayers are less effective.
