I am fasting and praying for Jesus Christ’s bride.
Over the years since early 2000 I have repeatedly warned about judgement. Now it is imminent. I have repeatedly seen in the psalms the words “rejoice because God is coming to judge the world“.
I was thinking… why rejoice? Is it because we will be free from oppressive yokes? Yes those thatoppress us will be judged and their yoke broken.
VISION: Yedterday Dec 30… I saw a woman’s hands. She had made a covenant with some part of the world. Then I saw the thing (which was dark) removed out of her hands and she was left empty handed. Her compromise was removed from her.
Will we finally discover that our hope in the world was misplaced? Maybe. Will we realise that Christ is where we need to focus… and not on countries, power, money? Perhaps.
My fear is that no matter what pain we go through, we might not repent and change. We might cling onto our sorceries, selishness, murders and lies.
Rev 9:21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
An interesting note… some translations use the word “drugs” rather than sorceries. But witchcraft is so prevalent in our society… in marketing, in warfare, in politics, in secret services around presidents, in daily life… so… the word sorceries is appropriate too.
I fear that we are used to the darkness, hiddenness, aloofness, superiority, sophistication too much.
Rev 21:27 And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles, neither whatsoever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Our standard is too low. Our clothing, our houses, our possessions should not be our identity, Christ IS our life. We lose our Earthly life to gain His eternal life. Our marriages should be “for the Kingdom”.
We have compromised. We departed from the high standard God set for us. We are in mixture.
Our churches are so “seeker friendly” that we cannot read certain parts of scripture to the people. We literally feel we cannot tell the truth in the one place that people need to hear truth.
What seems “normal life” to us is far below what God calls us to. But we are comfortable. We follow Him IF it suits us and IF people around us agree that we should.
I saw “we” because I know what I am talking about. Im describing myself as well. In my walk I have experienced my fallen human condition. I know my desperate need for a Saviour to save me from myself.
I think sometimes we dont see our own fallenness, and even if we do we dont repent and change. I know I am unable to change. I know that, so I constantly call on Him to change me.
He calls us higher and we lethargically respond, but only if we have free time, only if we understand, only if we see a good reason to do it, only if it “feels” right, only if we agree to it, only if trusted people around us agree that we should.
But look at the warnings He gave if we take this approach…
Luke 12:47-59
47 “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.
Dont skip over that verse. If you now but you dont get ready… you are the bride of Christ and it’s you that I am praying for.
48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows.
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
For many years I have been raying for the world. But now Im only prying for His bride.
Not Peace but Division
It really doesnt matter if no one in your family understands and if no one agrees…
49 “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed!
51 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52 From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
Interpreting the Times
54 He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does. 55 And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is. 56 Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?
YOU must decide…
57 “Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?
We must all URGENTLY make peace with God, through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ…
58 As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way,
or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. 59 I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.”
My prayer for you…
Lord Jesus Christ, as I fast for Your bride, please awaken Your bride, soften her heart, give her revelation of the choices and consequences ahead. Give Your bride a gift of faith Lord. Strengthen her to do Your will, even if the world rejects her.
My prayer for me..,
Start with me Lord, change me. Lord, You hold the heart of kings and You can turn it anybway You choose to. Write your laws on my heart and mind. Renew me from the inside. Put a soft heart of flesh in me. Take the enemy’s hooks out of my jaw. Cause righteousness to fall down and make a path for my feet to follow.
I pray this in Jesus Christ’s Name.
VISION: On the 27th Dec… Sheesh. I had a very disturbing dream last night. Im trying to process it, but its upsetting me. It wasnt a nightmare, it was what I saw in the dream. A person with no eyes, the entire face was a patch work of rectangular pieces of skin sown together. No nose, no mouth, no eyes. The person was sitting in a dock, the place where the accused sits in court. The person was alive, because as he breathed the massive scales of skin rose and fell in a fluttering kind of way. I had brought a woman over a treacherous path to come to this man and I was alarmed by what I saw. I said to the woman “are you sure you want this?”, she didnt answer, and I said to the man (who obviously needed help) “take her number and call her in a few months. The woman and I left together, back over the very treacherous path,
This vision is clear to me. The world, all governments, the church, all people… with perhaps a few exceptions… stand accused by the Judge. They cannot help themselves. They cannot see or perceive or talk.
Myself and someone else are called to help. But the prospect is daunting. We retreat from helping – for a few months – because she doesnt commit to it.
