Cast up the highway! Gather out the stones

In case you missed it… on my prayer journey to Israel… Is 62:10-12 says to “gather out the stones and prepare the highway”…

10 Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Cast up, cast up the highway! Gather out the stones. Lift up a standard or ensign over and for the peoples.

11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the Daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes [in the person of the Lord]; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work and recompense before Him. – Is 62:10-12

12 And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.

These are spiritual stones, but they are also literal stones. On Wikipedia it shows the Cape-Cairo Highway is not repaired in parts. Check out the unpaved bits… one part was SO BAD that it was called “the road to hell”

And I read blogs about how vehicles were literally broken on that road and had to turn back.

But the Chinese repaired the whole road during 2013… literally clearing out the stones… a physical representation of a spiritual act.

Isnt God awesome!!???
