The law of double jeopardy
Double jeopardy is a procedural defence that forbids a defendant from being tried again on the same (or similar) charges following a legitimate acquittal or conviction.
Based on this law… if you are convinced that Jesus Christ has paid for your sins and He has paid the penalty of death… if that is your declaration, then under the law you cannot be tried TWICE for those same crimes.
