Over the past few days I began to see something. Take a look and see if you can see it too. (You might be able to see more than I do.)
Heaven
1) In Heaven there is beauty…
Ecc 43:9 The beauty of heaven
2) Heaven has a defined edge (or walls) because Jesus Christ said He saw the devil fall out of Heaven… out means satan was in but now he is out… there must be an edge to determine in and out…
Luke 10:18 “I saw Satan fall like a lightning-flash out of Heaven
2 Kings 2:11 Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
3) Sin is driven outside. We know this because Jesus cleansed Heaven and satan was thrown out of Heaven.
That is why the Tabernacle and everything in it, which were copies of things in heaven, had to be purified by the blood of animals. But the real things in heaven had to be purified with far better sacrifices than the blood of animals. – Heb 9:23
4) Protected by angels. The bible often talks of the “host” of Heaven. The word host in Hebrew is tsaba and it means army and the intent is warfare.
5) Righteousness. Only those who are made righteous (through sacrifice which makes us righteous, cleansing us of sin) can go to Heaven.
Visually… here are some of the characteristics of Heaven.
Now let’s take a look at another
The Garden in Eden
The Garden also has the same characteristics!
1) In the Garden there was beauty. God saw it was good and then He said it was very good. Nothing was imperfect there.
2) The Garden had a defined edge (or walls) because Adam and Eve were driven outside of it.
3) Sin is driven outside. When Adam and Eve sinned they were removed and not let back in.
4) Protected by angels. God put two angels with fiery swords in place to prevent anyone unclean from coming back into the Garden.
5) Righteousness. Only those who are made righteous (through sacrifice which makes us righteous, cleansing us of sin) can go into the Garden.
These are the same characteristics as in Heaven…
Tabernacle
When the Israelites left Egypt and journeyed to their promised land God dwelt with them in a tabernacle. God gave them specific instructions of how to design it and how to care for it and who can enter into it. I see the same characteristics in that too.
1) Beauty. There was much gold used and lovely colours like blue which in those days were hard to come by. Everything was done to a high specification.
2) Edges or walls. The holy of holies had a curtain. The tabernacle had walls. The people camped around it… outside it.
3) Sin is driven outside. If the high priest entered the holy of holies and he had sin then he would die. Therefore a rope was tied to his leg so they could pull him out. When an unclean person touched the ark he died instantly.
4) Protected by angels. As they left Egypt an angel escorted them. And God’s Presence protected them and provided for them.
Ex 23:20 See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you.
5) Righteousness. There were many rituals like washings and sprinkling of blood to cleanse anything or anyone in the tabernacle.
Still the same characteristics across all three…
The New Covenant
Now we come to something interesting. The NC (new covenant) is mentioned by Jesus Christ. It was prophesied by Jeremiah. And it was described in great detail by Isaiah in Is 53-55.
1) Beauty. In Is 54:11-12 it speaks of God giving people or nations beauty…
I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,
your foundations with lapis lazuli.
I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones. Is 54:11-12
2) Edges or walls.
3) Sin is driven outside. The description of the NC in Is 53 begins with Jesus Christ and His sacrifice of Himself as atonement – removal – for all sin.
4) Protected by angels.Well… the protection here is from God Himself.
Tyranny will be far from you;
you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
it will not come near you.
If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;
whoever attacks you will surrender to you. – Is 54:14-1517 no weapon forged against you will prevail,
but if we look in Heb 12:22 and we see that the New Covenant and the Heavenly Jerusalem are connected… there we see that there are a host of angels too…
Heb 12:22 You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly
5) Righteousness. 99% of Is 53-55 speaks only about what God will do. But in one verse Is 54:14 it speaks of righteousness… and the Amplified says “you will establish yourself in righteousness”…
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established
Still the same…
Heavenly Jerusalem
1) Beauty. If you take a moment to read Rev you will find that beauty is mentioned constantly…
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
2) Edges or walls. The holy of holies had a curtain. The tabernacle had walls. The people camped around it… outside it.
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels
3) Sin is driven outside. If the high priest entered the holy of holies and he had sin then he would die. Therefore a rope was tied to his leg so they could pull him out. When an unclean person touched the ark he died instantly.
Rev 21:27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful
Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
4) Protected by angels. It has walls, 12 gates and at those gates are angels to protect the city from anything or anyone unclean
Rev 21:12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates.
5) Righteousness. There were many rituals like washings and sprinkling of blood to cleanse anything or anyone in the tabernacle.
Still the same…
God will personally dwell amongst us
Since writing this it has dawned on me that there is one other very important characteristic which is present in all 5 places… God is PERSONALLY with us…
Where can this be found in scripture?
Heaven… God is obviously personally there since the bible is clear that God dwells in Heaven.
Garden in Eden… God walked and talked to Adam and Eve until they were driven out.
Tabernacle… God was in the Holy of Holies, on top of the mountain talking to Moses and carried in the ark amongst the people.
New Covenant… Isaiah speaks of God being personally present amongst us and Jeremiah implies it as well…
Jer 31:34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord.
Heavenly Jerusalem… says clearly that God will personally dwell amongst us
Rev 21:3 “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.
A prophetic word for you
This is important because if you do a search in my journal for the words “behold the abode of god is with man” you will see that on a certain day God gave me those words as a prophecy. It is something we can expect in this coming revival.
The revival which is coming and is now arriving will be unlike anything before it. It will have these – above – characteristics gradually increasing over time including that God will dwell amongst us.
I recommend you read:

I honestly believe that God is now in the process of building His “New Jerusalem” or “Holy City” as He prophesied.
Thank you for your obiedince. It seems all I want to think about lately is heavily jeurusalem, the body of Christ and peace. I’m not a seasoned student so information shared like yours was very helpful. Thank you once again.
Great post and very timely. Keep teaching us prophet
Thank you for encouraging me.
